About Me
Hi, I'm Edan - a dog and cat groomer and the owner of Shutzi Spa in Ramat Gan. I've always raised animals, and I always knew I'd work with them. My mantra is simple: a happy dog is a healthy dog.
Looking for the best dog groomer in Ramat Gan or a trusted recommendation nearby? I'm not here to turn your dog into the Mona Lisa. I'm here to help owners and dogs alike - with proper grooming, hygiene, and care that puts health and comfort first.
My story started long before the scissors. You're welcome to read on.
The school live corner
I've always raised animals, and I always knew I'd work in this field. I started back in elementary school, working at the live corner - learning everything from the ground up: cleaning, feeding, giving medication, caring for exotic animals and pets, and more. That was the foundation for everything that came after.
Volunteering and the pack at home
As an adult I began volunteering at animal organizations. At the first one, Shtut was adopted - and two years later Kinder was found in a trash bin and moved into her dream home. Today I have six, but who's counting. In the most recent volunteering chapter, Bisli joined the family - and with him came the whole cat crew. That love at home reminds me every day why I do what I do.
Veterinary nurse
I decided to take animals from a passion to a profession. I studied veterinary nursing at Magen David Yarok, graduated with excellence, and was accepted to one of the best workplaces in the center of the country. I worked there as a veterinary nurse for almost four years - but it still wasn't enough for me. I saw how much people love their pets, and yet how often they aren't aware of daily grooming and the right kind of care.
The path to grooming
After researching the field, I studied professional dog grooming at Magen David Yarok. I opened a salon right away - and today I help owners and dogs alike with skin issues, oral hygiene, ear care, and more. My veterinary nursing background stays with me in every session.
Shutzi Spa
At Shutzi Spa in Ramat Gan I keep walking that same path: not just a regular groomer, and not for a perfect photo at the dog's expense. My mantra stays the same - a happy dog is a healthy dog. That's how I work, and that's how I want you to leave: calm, confident, and with a pet that was cared for the right way.
